NC Zoo Society Vet Camps
PLEASE NOTE: BEGINNING 12:00PM EST ON THURSDAY, 28 FEBRUARY 2013, ALL NEW CAMPER APPLICATIONS FOR NC ZOO SOCIETY VET CAMPS WILL BE ADDED TO A WAITING LIST.
Please use this online form to register your child for a NC Zoo Society Spring/Summer 2013 Veterinary Camp. The Zoo Society offers both a three-day senior camp and a one-day junior camp. Fees for the senior camp are $559 for Zoo Society members and $599 for non-members. Fees for the junior camp are $259 for members and $299 for non-members.
New for the Spring/Summer 2013 senior camp is an opportunity to join an optional visit to the Veterinary School at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. The cost for this extra trip is $50.00, which includes transportation, a tour of the Vet School, and lunch at the Vet School. Please note that this optional trip is available to senior campers only; it is not available to junior campers.
Please note that fees are partially, but not fully, tax-deductible. For the junior camps, families can deduct $192.05 from the member fee or $222.05 from the non-member fee. For the senior camps, families can deduct $356.05 from the member fee or $385.05 from the non-member fee. Finally, families may deduct $15.00 for the optional Vet School trip.
Fees include lodging, all meals and snacks, scrubs, a journal and a stethoscope.
